Kirk Myers
Kirk Myers is Director and co-owner of Myers Aerospace Ltd, with a lifelong passion for aviation rooted in his family heritage. A graduate of Cranfield University at the Royal Military College of Science, he has built a distinguished career in aerospace engineering, specialising in design and certification.
As a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society (FRAeS), Kirk brings decades of experience across civil, military, and special mission aviation. For over twenty years he has held postholder and senior leadership roles in both Part 21 Design Organisation Approval (DOA) and Part 145 maintenance operations, and has served as Accountable Manager and Nominated Postholder for organisations requiring Part 145 (Category A and C), Part 21J, military DAOS, military Air System CDO, and Flight Test approvals.
His expertise spans airworthiness, design certification, and regulatory compliance for both fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft. This technical depth is complemented by strong business acumen, developed through senior leadership positions and an MBA (Master of Business Administration) from Open University, accredited by AMBA, EQUIS and AACSB.
Beyond aerospace and previous flying experiences, Kirk enjoys family life in the countryside and travelling, while undertaking sailing and historic/vintage rallying when opportunities arise.
Kirk also undertakes a voluntary role as Royal Aeronautical Society Bournemouth Branch President.

Kate Myers
Kate Myers (Myers-Smith) serves as a Director and co-owner of Myers Aerospace Ltd, where she plays a vital role as the business manager. She holds a degree from the Royal Veterinary College, London University. Kate is known for her calm demeanour and logical approach, complemented by her experienced business acumen.
Alongside her qualifications as a veterinary surgeon and her responsibilities as a Director, she also manages a cottage flower farm, allowing her to engage with nature. In her personal life, Kate balances her professional commitments with her family, enjoying activities such as travelling and wild swimming.
